Event Staff (Attraction Operators)


Position Summary

Event Staff are responsible for the safe and professional operation of Party On Air attractions, including inflatables, games, concessions, and interactive experiences. This role is guest-facing and plays a critical part in delivering a high-quality, safe, and enjoyable experience at every event.

Event Staff must maintain strong awareness of safety procedures, actively monitor participants, and ensure all equipment is operated according to company standards and applicable guidelines.


Primary Responsibilities

Attraction Operation

  • Safely operate inflatables, carnival games, concessions, and other event equipment

  • Follow all operating procedures and safety rules for each attraction

  • Monitor participants to ensure compliance with rules (height, weight, behavior, etc.)

  • Control rider flow, loading, and unloading in an organized and efficient manner

  • Shut down operations immediately if unsafe conditions arise


Guest Interaction & Experience

  • Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner

  • Clearly explain rules and instructions before participation

  • Maintain a positive, high-energy presence throughout the event

  • Handle minor guest concerns and escalate issues when necessary

  • Ensure guests have a safe and enjoyable experience


Safety & Compliance

  • Conduct continuous visual inspections during operation

  • Enforce all safety guidelines without exception

  • Maintain awareness of environmental conditions (weather, surface conditions, etc.)

  • Report any equipment issues, incidents, or unsafe behavior immediately

  • Assist with emergency procedures if required


Event Support Duties

  • Assist Event Crew as needed with light setup or adjustments during events

  • Maintain cleanliness of attraction areas

  • Keep equipment organized and free of debris

  • Monitor power connections and blower operation (where applicable)


Work Environment

  • Outdoor and indoor event settings

  • Exposure to varying weather conditions (heat, cold, wind, etc.)

  • Fast-paced, high-energy environments with large crowds

  • Frequent standing, walking, and active engagement


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods

  • Ability to lift and move light equipment (typically 25–50 lbs)

  • Ability to remain alert and attentive for long durations

  • Comfortable working in active, sometimes loud environments


Schedule & Availability

  • Flexible scheduling based on event bookings

  • Weekend and evening availability required

  • Opportunities for travel to regional events

  • Overnight travel may be required (per diem provided)

Party On Air, based in Danville, Kentucky, is seeking an experienced Full-Time Delivery Driver / Installer to support our growing operations across the Eastern United States.

This role is responsible for the transport, delivery, setup, and pickup of event rental equipment, while providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-focused, and capable of working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery & Installation

  • Safely operate company trucks and trailers for deliveries and pickups

  • Load, transport, and unload equipment efficiently and safely

  • Install and set up inflatables, games, concessions, and rides per company standards

  • Ensure proper anchoring, power setup, and safe operation of all equipment

  • Perform complete teardown and repacking after events


Logistics & Operations

  • Coordinate delivery and pickup schedules with dispatch/team leads

  • Understand truck and trailer capacity to optimize load efficiency

  • Secure all inventory using proper cargo securement methods

  • Maintain accurate records of delivered and returned equipment


Warehouse & Inventory

  • Pick, pack, and check orders prior to dispatch

  • Inspect equipment before and after use for damage or issues

  • Assist with cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs

  • Maintain organized warehouse and staging areas

  • Support inventory control processes and audits


Customer Interaction

  • Provide professional and courteous service at all job sites

  • Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card

  • Clean driving record

  • Pass background check and drug screening

  • Minimum 7 years driving experience (Preferred)
